    Ah the sounds of the Greatful Dead, “What a long Strange trip It’s been”. Unfortunately as you can guess that infers I was barely able to look at code this week. I am starting to feel like a putz. With a new employee starting at the day job and the Boston Marathon it makes a busy week … huh no I don’t run unless being chased but it is a city pride thing. Hopefully I will have more next week.

  • Game Art Blog Update

    Another Day… Week… Month… wow, it’s been a little bit of time since I last posted an update. Still struggling with health issues, but it looks like I’m getting on the right track. Anyways… let’s get back to the topic of today’s image.

    I’m attempting to build a universal facial rig to use across all characters in the game.

    The image you see before you is an attempt to minimize bone usage but still get good results from facial animation in-game.


    My opinion… not great, but not bad either.

    Now that I got this done, its time to move back and finish the models.



  • Coder’s Blog 21

    Well that was a frustrating week, not of coding but of figuring out that the issue I was having with the mac was because of a bad file. For such a stable and useful system you would hope they could do an error message or maybe a do you wish to stop this from loading. Alas no all you get is a no entry symbol.

    Ah well hopefully I have found the road out of issues and back to work…
